Ed Sheeran's Shape of You

Seattle's Georgetown neighborhood is prominently featured in a supporting role in Ed Sheeran's music video adapted from his international hit song, "Shape of You," which debuted on the Number One spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2017. The multi-Grammy award winning singer is the first artist to debut in Billboard's Hot 100 with two top 10 songs simultaneously: "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill". The video production has more than one local angle: not only was "Shape of You" filmed on location in Georgetown, but Seattle's own Jennie Pegouskie -- who was the assistant production supervisor -- landed in the co-starring role with Sheeran in front of the camera. Check out Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You".

San Gennero Festival 2019

The seventh annual San Gennaro Festival returns to Georgetown!

Please join us and our friends from September 6 - 8, 2019 for the San Gennaro Festival which celebrates the Patron Saint of Naples - the Blood Miracle of St. Gennaro.

The Feast of San Gennaro, originally a one-day religious commemoration, arrived in the United States in September 1926 when immigrants from Naples congregated along Mulberry Street in the Little Italy section of Manhattan in New York City, to continue the tradition they had followed in Italy to celebrate Saint Januarius, the Patron Saint of Naples. His feast day is Septmber 19 in the liturgical calendar of the Roman Catholic Church.

Enjoy beer, wine, food and three days of music featuring Ray Massa's EuroRhythms, Roby Santini, Graziana Lazzaro, Brian DiJulio and the Love Jacks, and more.
